Tour Itinerary

• Day 1: AIRPORT / KADUWELA

  Upon arrival, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative before being transferred to Kaduwela and the gated entrance to the hotel, which is tucked away amongst the natural habitat. Check into the hotel, then refresh and relax at the boutique hotel.
  Afternoon leisure trekking around the Koratota estate.

• Day 2: KADUWELA / SINHARAJA

  After breakfast, leave for Sinharaja, driving through the tropical villages of Sri Lanka. Reach the Sinharaja hotel, check into the boutique hotel in Sinharaja, and refresh at the hotel. Afternoon trekking in the Sinharaja rain forest with a specialized guide. Sinharaja is Sri Lanka’s last existing tropical rainforest.

• Day 3: SINHARAJA

  After breakfast, enjoy a full day of exploration in the Sinharaja rainforest with our specialized guide.

• Day 4: SINHARAJA / YALA

  The next day, after breakfast, drive to Yala. In Yala, clients will be staying at the Luxury Tent Camp, which provides a complete experience of wildlife activities. Lunch will be provided by Luxury Tent Camp, and after lunch, relax and enjoy the evening and Jeep Safari at Yala National Park.

• Day 5: YALA / ELLA

  After breakfast, drive to Ella. We ascend from the lowlands to the Central Highlands through enchanting scenery and waterfalls. En route, you may visit Rawana Falls and Buduruwagala Rock, then reach the Ella Hotel, check in, and refresh at the hotel.
  In the afternoon, we trekked with our guide to Little Adams Peak, which is one and a half hours of walking trails through the valleys, tea plantations, and hills.

• Day 6: ELLA / HORTON PLAINS / NUWARA ELIYA

  After breakfast, leave for Horton Plain. You may experience another interesting trek across the Horton Plains. Thereafter, the drive to Nuwara Eliya, the capital of the hill station cradled in the central hill country, is about the most attractive area of the island. The walk for the day and a few hours in the cool climes along plantation roads, jeep tracks, and main roads will be an unforgettable experience.

• Day 7: NUWARA ELIYA / KANDY

  The following day, after breakfast, visit Nanu Oya railway station for a train ride on an observation coach to Kandy. The most spectacular and beautiful rail routes, hugging narrow mountain passes with views of mountain ranges and waterfalls, reach Kandy railway station, and our chauffeur guide will pick you up there and drive you to the hotel in Kandy. Refresh at the Kandy Hotel, and in the afternoon, go sightseeing in Kandy.
  Visit Upper Lake Drive, stop at Market Square, and walk around bazaars and markets. Visit the Anglican Cathedral and the Hindu Temple, the sacred tooth relic temple. In the evening, you can watch the Kandyan cultural dance.

• Day 8: KANDY / RIVERSTON

  After breakfast, drive to Knuckles for trekking or cycling with our specialized guides. It is a real paradise for those who love to hike or mountain bike, offering numerous mountainous trails that journey across clear rivers, through dense forests, past flowing waterfalls and lush tea plantations, and alongside terraced paddy fields and colorful Kandyan home gardens.

• Day 9: RIVERSTON / HABARANA

  On day 9, after breakfast, leave for Habarana. En route, visit the Spice Garden in Matale, which grows spices and herbs used in Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Reach the Habarana Hotel and relax. In the afternoon, an elephant ride in Habarana takes you around the bund of an ancient manmade rainwater reservoir named Giritala Wewa; you even cross a part of the lake where you could get your feet wet while still seated on the elephant.

• Day 10: HABARANA / SIGIRIYA / HABARANA

  After breakfast, leave for Sigiriya to climb the Sigiriya rock fortress. Afternoon- Enjoy a bullock cart tour through a typical dry zone village. You could experience the pleasures of village life in the villages, and you could also enjoy typical Sri Lankan food served on banana leaves.
  In the end, you could have a tuk-tuk ride through the village to your starting point, or you could trek through the village to get a better experience of village life.

• Day 11: HABARANA / COLOMBO

  The next morning, after breakfast, drive to Colombo through Sri Lankan villages in between major towns. Reach Colombo, check into your hotel, and refresh at the hotel. In the afternoon, drive around this fascinating capital, a cozy mixture of the past and present. You may shop in the Colombo shopping complexes.

• Day 12: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

  On the last day, after breakfast, leave for the airport for your departure transfer.
